Sometimes…a particular material drives the inspiration to create a piece.  Such is the case with our Tree Bark Planter Box.  The response to the début of our tree bark siding has be very positive.  Being real tree bark, it blends in beautifully with the surrounding environment, and it compliments the plants in a beautiful harmonious way. 

Designing another planter for the market was not part of my game plan this year.  I have my wonderfully creative and insightful mother to thank for this product idea.  Since mothers know best, I am sure you will be very pleased with this uniquely different planter.  

 
Elements of the Piece

Materials
The planter box construction consists of a Cedar wood frame and the interior lining is Cypress. 

The planter box exterior is real Tulip Poplar tree bark and the trim is clear Pine. 


Finishes
The tree bark has been left natural and will last for many years in this untreated state.

Trim is painted in solid stain, and the color is Driftwood Gray.

Special Instructions

This unit is intended for exterior use.  Drain holes have been installed in the bottom panel.  If you intend to use this as an interior planter, you must install a leak-proof liner.  Please contact us for information.
